ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY AND NCAA REQUIREMENTS

At our seminars you will learn what it takes to be academically eligible according to NCAA guidelines. Courses from Gr. 9 - 12 count toward eligibility. (starting with gr. 9, make sure you are in the right courses)

The NCAA Eligibility Centre will review and determine a student-athletes eligibillity status based on academic and amateur credentials. The student-athlete and parents should make themselves well aware of these requirements in order to attain the required eligible status for Division I or II athletics.

Starting in Grade 9 student-athletes should be taking the correct academic courses. It should be a team effort with the student-athlete, parent and guidance counsellor to be sure the classes being taken are matching the NCAA list of approved core courses

SAT Testing and/or ACT Testing should be taken in the Grade 11 year. Sat prep courses are available to assist with preparation for these tests.
